Associate Production Artist w/ a Sense of Humor

We’re looking for a talented AF Associate Production Artist who is meticulously organized, can prepare seamless factory ready artwork and manage submits through the production process. This person should be fluent in Illustrator & Photoshop, have a keen eye for detail and must be able to update & manage our artwork through the production process. They will be working alongside the Print Design / Product Development teams ensuring our prints come to life and execute to the highest standards. You must be a hungry learner, an amazing communicator and be a pleasure to work with.

Essential Duties & Responsibilities:
– Create factory ready artwork to scale, with pantones, dimensions and call outs for specific print techniques.
– Create seamless repeats and layout engineered placement prints.
– Support & collaborate with the Print Design team ensuring our designs are executed from computer to customer.
– Review & comment to factory on all print strike offs in a timely manner.
– Review any strike off concerns with Print Design & Product Development.
– Implement design updates and revisions for artwork as needed.
– Artwork WIP Management.
– Hit deadlines & manage workflow of all print design needs.
– Be a clear communicator cross functionally with Design, Product Development, Sales and the factories.
– Keep up to date with print techniques and printing standards.
– Ready to roll-up sleeves and participate at all levels of the process.

Must Haves:
– 1-3 Production Artist or Relatable Experience
– Ability to prepare factory ready repeatable artwork with dimensions and pantones
– Amazing eye for color and the ability to pick appropriate pantone colors to go with the artwork
– Highly proficient in Illustrator & Photoshop
– Excel/Google Sheets Proficiency
– Portfolio of recent work highlighting production artist experience
– Must be local ( or willing to relocate )

Nice to haves:
– Knowledge of printing different textiles
– Experience in producing a range of printed products including, all over prints, placed prints & knit intarsia
– Experience working in Monday or Task Management Software

Education and Experience:
– Background in similar role & work to back it up
