Bumble

Bumble is looking for a skilled and passionate Associate Designer to work closely with our in-house creative team in Austin Texas, directly reporting to the US Design Lead. Your responsibilities will be collaboratively extending Bumble’s brand across a variety of marketing applications, including but not limited to print + production, experiential, merchandise, and digital projects. Excellent typography and vector skills are required, along with solid conceptual abilities and extremely strong attention to detail. Clear communication skills while maintaining a positive attitude and remaining adaptable is an essential part of the job since you will wear many hats, juggle multiple projects at once, and be expected to efficiently solve a host of unique challenges each day.

*EXPERIENCE WE ARE LOOKING FOR:*
– Proven experience design experience, preferably at an agency or in-house team
– Proficiency in Adobe Creative Cloud, especially Adobe Illustrator and Adobe Photoshop
– Excellent typography, vector and illustration skills
– A special affinity for experiential, print, as well as merchandise design
– Remain adaptable and efficient while juggling several simultaneous projects in an extremely fast-paced environment
– Excellent time management skills and willingness to go above and beyond to meet deadlines and produce visuals of the utmost quality and brand integrity
– Ability to present work and articulate design thinking with strong attention to detail
– Background in production (digital or experiential) design is a plus
– Basic knowledge of Figma is a plus
– Motion graphics skills are a plus

*KEY ACCOUNTABILITIES:*
– Translate and evolve Bumble’s design system across various applications and platforms to create a cohesive brand experience
– Support and work collaboratively with other Designers on a variety of projects that require multiple hands
– Collaborate with a variety of teams across the organization but especially the Community Marketing and Merchandise teams
– Lead and drive assigned projects from concept to completion with limited oversight or management
– Maintain Bumble’s brand standards and help enforce brand guidelines as growth continues into new markets and ensure cross-functional brand strategy
– Stay ahead of best-in-industry technology, brands, and design techniques
