What does a typical working day include for you right now?

Wake up in the after noon. Because of the World Cup. Check mails and if I have illustrations to do, I'll do it. If I don't, I go back to sleep or do something different.

How did you develop your style as an illustrator and what tips would you have for others?

I'm still learning, but I like to develop old style line drawn illustration. Line drawing has lot of potential and flexibility. I like the idea of being flexible. You can use the line in many ways.

What have been some of your biggest disasters and how have you learnt from it?

I had many misunderstandings with designers / art directors, in many projects. Even still now. It's all about miss communication. Exchange your thoughts in every step as the project goes. Tell and share your thoughts and the way you feel with respect.

I would say to myself, make the environment around you. Make your surroundings with something or someone that you like, that you want to be deeply.

What advice would you give students starting out?

Try to learn by copying the styles of designers or illustrators that you like. Then think about which part of it is you like or you don't like. Copying style makes much faster to skips few steps at studying process.
