I started by working on a design studio more towards the editorial while studying illustration and comics. Now that I'm a freelancer I do a little bit of everything from publishing, identity, posters, album covers and I'm also a musician.
I remember making a poster for one of my band's first concerts
In addition to being an illustrator and freelance graphic designer, I also work in a screen printing workshop. My days are a balance between the workshop where I print and my workspace.
There are 5 Portuguese designers who greatly influence my work: Sebastião Rodrigues, Marco Balesteros, Isabel Lucena, José brandão and Braulio Amado.
I'm never satisfied with the things I do and I feel like I'm always looking for more in my style but I think it's important to look at what I've done in the past and try not to be dazzled by the trends.
When I started, I was not very satisfied with the work I did and created a distance from them until there was a time when I felt an improvement. The highlight was the moment when I felt more confident about my work.
