We chat with Nantes based Graphic Designer & Illustrator Clémence Gouy about her studies at École de Communication Visuelle of Nantes, creating her own coloring books as a child, and she reaffirms some great advice — 'Don't wait for your last year of study to start putting your work on the internet' (You heard her - get tagging people #TDKpeepshow 😉 )
We had a chat to Léopoldine and Thomas from Dimanche Studio, they tell us all about how their passion for design and illustration began. This passion was the driving factor for the two of then to launch PAPIER Magazine, an amazing magazine showcasing illustration from around the world.
Our mate, Johan from Brand Brothers fills us in on his discovery of love for Graphic Design, how he started out and his passion for branding (and making it sexy).
Fakepaper is a graphic design studio born in 2011 and run by Chloé Desvenain. It carries projects of all kinds, dealing either with small businesses or global agencies; in a professional or personal purpose, through many fields such as cultural, musical or institutional. Chloé chats about the variety of courses she jumped between, her determination, and her interesting year working at Peugeot-Citroën.
We chat with dynamic duo, Thomas Weil & Quentin Weisbuch about who, where, what, and why they started up Studio Furious. They talk about their large spectrum of clients, from fashion to food to architecture to branding, and their love of colorful cartoons and insane pop commercials.
Mathias Rabiot & Jérémie Fesson co-founded Graphéine in 2002, and it hasn't been without its struggles. Here we get a behind the scenes glimpse into how the studio runs, hear about their glorious library which has a few missing (or should I say stolen?) books! Plus they chat about how every project always starts with doodles in a notebook, it's as simple as that.
