Awards 2020

In 2020, Canva has joing us as the TDK Awards partner and they have some exciting news for all the Awards winners for 2020. Canva was conceived as a product that could introduce anyone to the joy of design—and prove its power to change the world for the better. We’re excited to support the TDK Awards because we know we’re only just starting our journey to see the global impact that design can have—and we want to champion the next generation of designers, innovators, and creative thinkers, who will take us further than we ever imagined.

If the winner is living in a country that Canva has an entity (Manila, Australia, Texas, South Africa), we have 2 options;

  • A chance to get a job at Canva/A potential job offer at Canva. All they’ll need to do is go through a Canva values interview with the team. They’ll also get an idea of the type of projects they’ll be working across.

In any other countries :

  • Canva would commission and pay the winner(s) to create a template design series (print & digital) in Canva

Ours are super simple – you submit a short 5-page portfolio, and each year we pick 10 amazing judges to look at them. They choose 3 each which they would hypothetically be interested in interviewing further for a job, we ask them why they picked you which we put on our blog post and we promote you via all the love on IG to over 1 million impressions each week! If you’re in that top 30 for the year, it’s THE perfect boost for starting your design career and launching yourself into the industry.
